Ext. suspension R 540, left hand

Stable extensometer swivel device with locking in the measuring and parking positions.

To facilitate the precise positioning of the extensometer rods on the sample and to optimize testing processes, MAYTEC has developed a suspension that always positions the probe rods of your extensometer in the same test point after they have been swiveled in. The sophisticated technology with two mechanical locks enables one-handed operation and incorrect operation is virtually impossible. Once the extensometer is in the test position, a Bowden cable triggers a mechanism that blocks the arm from swiveling out, thus offering maximum testing reliability. In the park position, the extensometer is also locked to ensure that the device does not slip when changing rods, etc. A sheet metal bracket protects the ceramic extensometer rods from damage in the park position. We adapt the heavy-duty suspension to the flange situation of your testing machine individually.

  • The leg length of the aluminum profiles used is adapted to your testing machine dimensions.
  • Two locking functions in the “Park” and “Measure” positions.
  • Easily height adjustable using linear drive and hand crank.
  • Heavy-duty design to increase measurement reliability.
  • With additional column, it can also be attached to machines without freely accessible machine columns.
  • On request also for non-MAYTEC extensometers.
