HTO-15 - closed

for material testing in air and a heating zone length of 30 cm

The HTO-15 high-temperature furnace is characterized by excellent temperature distribution, ensured by its 3-zone design. Each zone can be controlled independently, enabling precise temperature control, especially when an appropriate temperature controller is used.

The furnace is made more energy-efficient through the use of a lightweight, thermally insulating and asbestos-free aluminum silicate wool.

The housing of the furnace is made of stainless steel, which increases the longevity of the appliance.

In addition, the furnaces are already equipped to accommodate a length change sensor (HT extensometer). This makes it easy to integrate measuring devices for monitoring material changes.

  • Double-walled construction – convection cooling reduces the outside wall temperature.
  • The MSRA regulator uses transformers to provide the required high current and reduce the voltage. Thanks to the lower voltage, the oven's lifespan is extended.
  • Folding furnace. Fast and easy sample loading of samples possible.
  • Durable embedded horizontal heating elements.
  • Furnace bore optimized for a wide range of adapters and test fixtures without causing large heat losses.
  • Lightweight and asbestos-free insulation material to minimize power consumption.
  • Stainless steel housing.
  • All electrical connections are made to the MSRA controller.
  • Front cutout allows access to high-temperature extensometers.
  • Uniform temperature gradient thanks to 3 independent heating zones.
  • Five feed-throughs for thermocouples, 3 of which are in the middle of each heating zone.
  • Movable thermocouple arrays for temperature are available as an option.
  • Adjustable stainless steel latches for easy locking of the furnace holder during the test.
  • Upper and lower end plates with tie rod cutouts are manufactured to fit the test device.
  • OFF safety switch when opening the furnace.

  • Heating zone length of 300 mm.
  • Suitable for high-temperature tensile tests, compression tests, cyclic fatigue tests and fracture mechanics tests.
  • For tensile specimens B from M6 to M20 (according to DIN 5012).
  • Load rods for tensile specimens up to M20 available.
  • (Optional) Viewing window with a glass angle of 5° for measurements with a laser extensometer.
