High-temperature systems with heaters made of refractory metals, suitable up to 1800°C operating temperature.

General Features

These systems can be used at temperatures up to 1800°C under vacuum or inert gas conditions. They are available in 2- and 3-zone versions and are designed in close cooperation with the customer (they are not standard products).

  • Completely water-cooled, double-walled chambers with a water distribution system
  • Customer-specific feedthroughs into the chamber are possible
  • Load cell in vacuum for high measurement reliability
  • Water-cooled testing machine coupling
  • Receiver and heater made entirely of refractory metals
  • 2- and 3-zone variants are available
  • Temperature measurement using pyrometers and thermocouples
  • Strain measurement is possible with a MAYTEC vacuum extensometer or an optically connected third-party extensometer
  • Possibility for vacuum bending measuring system

  • Duplex materials
  • Testing of special metals where no carbon may be present in the test atmosphere
